@Chet This section of Union Pacific trackage between Cima hill and Kelso depot has seen numerous derailments and runaway trains. The descent is about 20 miles of 2.2% grade.Link to the NTSB report on UP 6205 which ran away in this track section in 1997 resulting in a similar speed derailment: ntsb.gov/investigations/AccidentReports/Reports/RAR9801.pdf
