@stux Flu. Had it two times now, took me a few days to get over and a minor fever. It’s a strange sensation but heard more people experience the symptoms.

@stux I'm dizzy from a med side effect this morning and feel like I'm walking in a fun house. Different reason I'm sure, but I'll be dizzy and miserable with you ( since misery loves company).

@stux People from work (incident response folks) talked about this lately. It happened to them from sitting in front of the computer a lot and tension building in their nuchal vertebrae. Maybe get that checked out. They also described it as being unable to walk straight as if they were drunk or on a swaying boat.

@stux I will not be all alarmy but those can be the symptoms of a stroke, might be good to have someone who knows you have a quick look.

@stux Hey dude, might want to get that looked at. Could be nothing, could be a number of alarming things that can be treated. Take care and don’t push yourself!

@stux might be crystals in your inner ear causing dizziness. Had it for about a week once — fet fine aside from the world spinning relentlessly. See https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/benign-paroxysmal-positional-vertigo-bppvIf it is that, the article describes a maneuver you can do that might help. (This said — I’m not a dr. Probably should get it checked out just in case it’s more serious.)

@stux Could be *inner*ear infection messing up your vestibular system. I had this once — the room was spinning even when I was flat on the floor. Doctors gave me Dramamine for the motion sickness!

@stux Stux, I don’t want to trivialize this. Those symptoms are concerning. If they return please do go see your GP/PCP.But, something else to consider as well - your last six months or so of life, which has been a pleasure to follow. You have been taking on a LOT of projects! As Bilbo says - Too little butter drawn on dry toast..Be sure to grab that missus, and get those ‘me’ times in as well, friend. :blobcatcoffee:
