Make no mistake, we NEEDED a pair of steady hands. A man who had seen it all, had lived long in this vale of tears, had made mistakes, sure, but lived long enough to amend them, & grow wise. A man who buried one of his sons, & wife, & learned humanity. Who served as VP under Obama, so learned how to fill the shoes. And despite the best efforts of Putin, Trump, and all the devils in the media, we now have President Biden, laying down the fucking law, steering the ship of state with a steel hand.

@JamesDBartlett3 I don't know about any of that. I haven't seen any reports about it. It might be a policy which is necessary for political, or economic reasons, despite ecological concerns, or it might be environmentally indefensible, I cannot say from here.

@TilopaIf it's truly unavoidable for one reason or another, he should make a public statement explaining the reasoning, and also explaining what plans they have in place to counterbalance the increased carbon emissions. But since he's not being transparent, it just seems like he's doing business as usual behind the scenes with Big Oil.
