       @JenniferSlack ...INCREDIBLE  how do mass enough denial for that ? not that I don't see it in my life often with people around me I just don't understand it .I have a fear of not being aware of what is happening in my world that is so not shared ..

       @Penelope There seems to be this uniquely American thing: if it is something I want to do, I can do it. No matter who else it might hurt. ‘FREEDOM’  Of course, it also entails this: if there is something I don’t want YOU to do, I have the right to keep you from doing it as long as I give it some kind of moral significance. (We can be forgiven, I think, for not seeing the logic in all this.
