       @leo I can tell that anti cheat programs don’t run well in Parallels/windows.  I have Windows Home on mine and a game like Destiny 2 will not run due to the anti cheat program not allowing to run in virtual.

       @leo @twitnews It's worth noting that Microsoft now also supports Visual Studio 2022 on ARM, and it works great inside Windows 11 in Parallels! I do my Windows software consulting from a MacBook Pro, and while a few things are missing (SQL Server Express, GitHub Copilot), it's a pleasant experience.

       @leo @twitnews A cool thing I do with this setup is right-click on a file in Beyond Compare on the Mac side to open the file in Notepad++ on the Windows side. Love it!

       @twitnews Parallels makes my M1 actually usable. Sure MacOS is fine for messing around but when I need to get real work done, I fire up Parallels. Probably unrelated: Been a Windows user since Windows 3.0
