       Question about mouse mats (for those of you who use them). This is a ramble - apologies.SO my (old, circa 2011) Ubuntu mouse mat is laminated (I think). It's a smooth matte kind of splash proof material with a black foam underside.I want to get a custom round mouse mat made (with the newer Ubuntu logo). Material wise, sites seem to make them using a fabric-y looking material, not laminate.Is this the norm? Are they good? The idea of dragging mouse across fabric texture seems weird to me!

       Thanks to everyone who replied to my mouse mat ramble - my new mouse mat (pink, below) just arrived - and all of my "worries" about these newer fabric-y mats have been put to bed! (I chose not to get the new Ubuntu logo done in the end, opting for a distro-agnostic #Linux penguin motif)
