@EU_Commission It's a start, but it got weakened way too much to be seen as "final answer" in regards to right to repair. The uphill battle against corporate interests just begun.

However:* intelectual property laws prevent repair efforts* repair labor costs are by far exeed, prices of imported goods from sweatshopsIf only there were a competent non-corrupt government regulating these issues with good intentions (i.e. trying to understand the issues and arguments involved, instaed of mostly following neoliberal ideology and industry lobbyist suggestions ...)

@EU_Commission This is a step in the right direction. But we can do way better than that. What about availability of spare parts and their fair pricing? The #EU could make a list of spare parts that producers would have to sell for their devices and impose a limit on their price, so that they don't cost more than a new device.#righttorepair #repair
