I'll never understand the humiliation rituals that big box stores put their employees through. The idea that someone being paid to do a job needs to also come up front to dance for their boss still blows me away. Like 2 months before I started streaming on Cozy, I had my only "real" job which was being an in-store shopper at Whole Foods for like a month.Doing your tasks isn't enough. I didn't know this til a few weeks in, but they track how fast you work. They do this by tracking the units you scan into the phone every hour. And I think your score can get hurt if you just aren't given any item to scan via a slow work day with fewer customers.If you don't scan enough units per hour they fire you. I didn't work fast enough so that was the end of that lol.Also, Whole Foods purposely makes their stores more diverse so it's harder to unionize.
