::: CARTRIDGES - a unifying game launcher 🤸♂️ 🤸♀️ 🤸 "Cartridges" is aimed as simpler game launcher for Linux. One might ask - why this and not Lutris, already there? Well, Lutris does work nicely - but for surprisingly many - may be overwhelming.Dev's approach is just a game folder in launcher."Something that just launches what I want to play and I don't have to think about it."Let's eye this one :thinkergunsunglasses: => https://github.com/kra-mo/cartridges#Cartridge #gaming #Lutris #Linux @kramo

@linuxpoweruser @kramo Cartridge has been around for only few months - taking baby steps. The main thing (and vision) of it - launching games - seems brilliant even now 👍

@Linux @kramo what do you mean by just a game folder in the launcher? this seemns mostly just as complicated as lutris tbh, but yeah, it's kinda cool, so I bookmarked it anyway

@bgtlover @kramo Tested Cartridges initially - there's one view for everything. I get it now. When games are installed - whether from repos, via snap or flatpak - usually adding a game - just the executing command is required. For example the game Widelands - no path - just "widelands". Click OK - added.Importing from other spots such as Steam works with a click - no login required either (as adding).Seems like a good start for Cartridges. Wine tweaks are not YET available through GUI.
