@p updating pleroma was probably more painful on my part than it needed to be just due to some customizationsmigrating from postgres 13 to 14 made enough of a mess that i had to restore the db from a dump, which on a single core VM took about 18 hours. so if you tried to do that on FSE presumably you'd need many many cores. i think if everything went as it was supposed to, the update would be fairly painless and the db migrations would be quick.looking forward to revolver though

@revvy @meowski Well, Revolver works with Tor; I2P doesn't do what I want and is a big Java mess. (I have spent a lot of time answering questions about other networks.) Since I2P provides a proxy, there's no reason Revolver wouldn't work over I2P, but I2P's a transport, this is a step up in the OSI layer.

@StarProphet @11112011 @TrevorGoodchild They actually didn't go away even after they started getting the rate-limiting reqs. They're not around lately but it comes and goes. The search scraper is around (last attempt was two and a half hours ago) and that guy was gone for a year and still hammers the API despite not getting a response in forever. (It might be the same guy, even; maybe the search endpoint is how they found the accounts they're scraping.)

@graf @StarProphet @phnt I had expected it would be doing something like a webintent URL but it apparently is a button that does a POST to the server and then does a redirect to the /ostatus/subscribe endpoint. Why it wouldn't just send you to that endpoint to begin with, I don't know, but it does appear to give you a real URL to the post (/notice/$id) in this case.
