       @DrRyanSkelton @Wormwood That's what gets me, "smugly ignorant" comes to mind.  A creature relishing in it's stupidity because it knew enough to, kind of, dress itself this morning.  Even those pics/vids of kids with Down Syndrome will show an occasional bit of cognitive introspection, like they suspect that their grasp of the world may not be all that great.
