       My YouTube channel has the new podcasting features activated!As far as I can tell so far, it means I can designate playlists as "podcasts," and I get some extra "podcast" analytics.I've been uploading my podcasts as videos off and on for years, and consistently with real video production for ~6 months.        @grammargirl Yes, I imagine the video version adds to your production time: 3x versus audio? You have a nice time mix of interesting graphics and you on camera, which keeps the viewer engaged.

       @garylerude Yes, 3x to 4x is about the range of extra work for video over audio — at least for me as a non-expert video producer. I like to imagine that a professional could do it faster.
