@agates @The_Marketsurfer My best guess (i.e. absolutely no proof at all) is neither. "They" can't even manage the digital dollar properly. I have no reason to think they can pull off long horizon financial planning of any complexity.

@adam @The_Marketsurfer @agates @dave in my view there will never be one global world currency but what is likely is 2 leading CBDCs (digital ones): euro and USD3 remarks: 1) popular videogame Cyberpunk 2077 indeed has eurodollar:https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Eurodollar ... so thousands of people use it already2) euro was created hundred years too early: France said "we agree on German re-unification only if Germany agrees on euro"3) some countries will always insist on their own not world currency

@csb @adam @The_Marketsurfer @agates @dave A funny question could arise here in a context of asking some CEE members accepting a pegging their currencies to USD rather than Euro.Btw the latter feels scammish to some CEE citizens, for being heavily influenced by nat-socs from Berlin.

@adam @agates @dave I agree, I do believe 🤣 that BTC will be the digital gold that wealth is measured in, currencies will be for commerce. BTC was the on ramp for the extra M-2 money supply in the system created through the pandemic. Now that they don't have enough money they shut down the ramp to one lane. Energy will be the future currency.
