can't believe Windows still doesn't allow unplugging a USB drive safely if some file in there is being used by an applike, just close the app? even having the explorer open triggers this error

@valsan @sirber You could lose data by forcibly closing programs on Windows. So it makes sense the way they do it.Remember Windows is older than USB drives.

@rudolf @valsan @sirber on Windows and USB sticks:a couple of years ago they stopped writing with sync to USB, defaulting to fast write instead (but remove too soon and you're screwed)thoughts? I always write to USB with sync, just seemed sensible and measurable
