       Is it just me or does Rabble sound too enthusiastic about integrating censorship into Nostr. We won't change the world, if we keep complying to the nanny state.

       I also came away from that talk deeply disturbed. Bowing down to the same standards that all the other forms of media do will just remove my reason for being here. You can be against the most vile content without believing in central authority being used to censor it. Block lists exist for a reason.

       Exactly was also for me quite shocking too see how willing he seems to push censorship. Looked almost like he can't wait to see it coming asap. But I'm certain that most of us here won't support this direction. I'll definitely stop using every client etc. which actively pushes such stuff.

       I agree neo, jannies should learn they are only there to wipe up illegal content and nothing else. They are NOT the arbiters/dictators of who is and who isn't allowed to speak on their platform. This type of behavior is exactly what lead to the mess we were running into on twitter regarding COVID, hunter biden laptop, intelligence agencies telling tech companies who to ban on social media. These people have TOO HIGH of an opinion of themselves and it needs to stop.

       I agree with you. You can have safety or freedom, but not both. People left Twitter because they found out the rules they wanted ended up being used against themselves, then they came to ActivityPub and did the same thing again.People need to learn to live with disagreement. https://i.imgur.com/PtmGwP6.jpg
