For the time we had it, it was the best thing in the whole world in that moment.Many things my parents gave us were second-hand items we didn't know or care were second-hand.Parks were and are free, and libraries were once places that held quality books and not glorified taxpayer-funded internet cafes.All that to say: "nice things to have" does not have to be expensive either, if it has to cost anything at all.

If you ask for it, they will probably buy it, especially if it's early in the fiscal year. If your library has valuable things you want other people to have available to them, circulate it, even if you aren't reading it. I make a point to always check something out of the history or classics section, even if it's something I have already read and don't intend to read it again, just so it registers a hit in the system and doesn't get autoflagged for weeding.Lastly if you have a good rapport with the librarians they will let you know what is getting flagged for weeding and you can usually buy it cheap or get it free before it's disposed of. I scored some really nice hardcover Edgar Allen Poe collected works, an old (1910s) Kipling book, an official Civil War Atlas published by the Army War College (retails at $250!) and some other nitnoid military history volumes this way.

@LouisConde I think the delay in having children by the so-called smart women is basically them going through years of post-secondary education, then trying to get established in their careers before having kids. It is further exacerbated if they insist on marrying someone who is at least a educated as they are, and who makes at least a much money as they make.

Note that I write âcontributionâ and not âindependenceâ, there is NOTHING WRONG in still being a part of the parents economic unit as long as you are a productive part.There is absolutely no reason for education not to include productive work, and as such to not be delaying being a breadwinner.Medical and high-end artisans are both ancient jobs that needed a long education, and both have a work/study hybrid teaching system (aka apprenticeship) for a good reason.Now, thatâs for men, for women, while it does make sense to have good basics, and good basics for the current world probably means college level education, itâs not like they should have to be primary breadwinners anyways, so there is no rush and it could easily be done in parallel with homemakingâŚ

We might be able to build support networks that help some Whites build families (which is good!) but those fixes will be piecemeal because the only real answers to this problem are territorial. When White men can plant themselves in the dirt and claim "this is OUR town and we'll decide who belongs in and out of it" then you'll see families having kids despite whatever economic hardships they face

I totally agree with your point on the duel-house income and feminism .It makes me wonder...were we retarded in thinking these things were good ideas and did it happen organically? Or was it a literal plan. I read quite a bit about the fall of the Roman Empire (I know, super stereotypical) but it seems as societies go towards decline there is an increase in faggotry, nihilism and other "privilege" beliefs. I say privilege because the west honestly did a good job. We have nice cars, food delivered to our doors, essentially free entertainment, sure we have to work but it's in air conditioned working space or our own homes. @LouisConde @LoriQuaid Itâs not entirely theoretical, there are well payed jobs that actually are best done by students.I had a friend who was in a top tier mechanical engineering school in Lorraine (which has a hybrid French/German system for historical reasons).And he was working on the schoolâs private assembly line for very high end engine parts for BMW sports engines two afternoons a week, because BMW discovered that using massively overqualified workers on an assembly line actually improved quality.Was he payed as well as a full fledged engineer, of course not, but he was still payed enough that he could have had a family, in a tiny apartment granted, but he could have.
