Some of my friends refuse to give up #Discord, oh the irony of it all... 😒 When I actually tried to show services such as #Matrix :matrix: or #Signal :signal: to them and explain about it, they reacted with disgust and proceed to preach about why Discord is so good and these #FOSS and #privacy respecting solutions are "malicious". Only a few decided to listen.This is such a sad reality we're living in.. most don't seems to care about their #data at all😕

@asahi95 Pardon me but fuck #Matrix - I just spent 15 minutes of my life on their site and even though I supposedly have a client (Thunderbird) there are NO obvious instructions on how to create an account. Don't make me go searching for what should be the most obvious thing on their site. If you don't believe me, get someone who's never heard of Matrix, and ask them to create an account and see how long it takes them. Like I said, I gave it 15 minutes but that site is SO DAMN CONFUSING that I am not willing to devote one more second to the process. Fuck Matrix!

@Lunatech @asahi95 Protocol itself is awesome and if you have some trouble using the clients... I get that.Actually for now this ecosystem is confusing. I discovered some ways to explain it to my friends really simply, but I am searching for a good place to put it online.
