@peterwebster Good post. I'm playing with the idea of changing to the Anglican Church or the Free Anglican Church (I love the liturgy and I'm observing lent) and plan to visit them over the coming two months. The Queer theology/Christianity I've investigated thus far (podcast, blogs and visiting two different queer churches) has been a *big* turn off. I suspect the biggest factors in my decision will be the congregation, the theological stances on gender and apostolic succession.

@Aslanmane @peterwebster @Aslanmane @peterwebster GAFCON is the big international Anglican sect which doesn't embrace the gay. Any local churches which are pro-GAFCON or in the diocese of the southern cross are the ones to go to.

@TinyFern @Aslanmane @peterwebster Last I checked the diocese of the southern cross had 2-3 churches. Might be too early for them to start picking up steam.

@Crux_Invictus @peterwebster @TinyFern I live in Melbourne. So I'll be visiting the Anglican church and the Traditional Anglican Church https://www.traditionalanglican.org.au/ (Not the FCE as previously stated).
