       So I’ve decided that the most uninteresting topics on Masto are Masto. Never been in any “community” that loved to talk about itself as much as this place.

       @Clackable I think part of that is that it’s the first time open source might be able to pull off creation of a successful *platform* - including hosting and moderation - rather than just making software. It’s a transformational prospect.

       @shacker I guess. But it seems like a bunch of ppl getting on a conference call and talking about how cool it is that they can conference call. It’s a case of “the medium is the message” writ large and literally.
