       #Trans friends, I was thinking about our diverse stories, and found myself wondering about the age you knew you were trans (whether you had language to describe it or not)?I didn't know until my late 40s.        @taedryn Pre-teen I was a pretty effeminate "boy", played with barbies, got jealous whenever I saw girls looking pretty and cute... and I always said in my head... i am not a boy i am a girl, but I didn't learn the word Transgender or what it meant until I was at least 18... maybe 19 years old, and I didn't come out publically till about 23 or 24 years old
