I wonder if you can make something useful in assembly in the limits of one Mastodon post - or 500 characters? Either as Assembly source, or as just hex bytes, which is about 160 hex bytes including spaces and a start address.#AskingForAFriend#6502Assembly#MachineCode#Z80

@EdS @ShaunBebbington This is too confusing!

@bojanland @EdS I agree, a hex dump like this with no start address wasn't what I was thinking. However, at least there's a link this working with an online 6502 emulator.

@ShaunBebbington @EdS I have only recently started learning 6502 assembler and I have a dream of making a Commodore 128 game at some point in the future, I hope sooner rather than later. So it may be my lack of knowledge, but nothing on that visual site was easy to grasp. I looked at the simulator, I couldn't figure nothing out. It seemed pointless and like a waste of my time. Just a bunch of colours changing on a square image. :)

Indeed, visual6502 is useful only to a very very small group of people! I'd recommend easy6502 as place to learn and tinker. That forum link I included might help, but understanding a pi spigot is quite a difficult task. The main point, if there is one, is that a pi spigot for 6502 can fit in a toot. (Or a Mastodon post, if you prefer.)@bojanland @ShaunBebbington
