@bluszcz @raccoonformality Can we please start separating state form from how the economy is run?A free liberty loving and not only by name democratic socialism is possible even if it has sadly only happened in fiction till now. Check out the Terran government in Star Trek for what i am thinking of here.It should be our goal as humanity that everyone(!) has a roof over their head, a filled fridge and free access to medical aid. Doesn't look like capitalism will fulfill this anytime soon.

Communism never visited us. The whole system tou refer to was officially named "real socialism" and even if the ruling party in the USSR called themselves "Communist", the state was still the "Union of Socialist Republics".So, even if you believe the words have (magical) meanings, blaming communism for the deeds of a socialist state is misaddressed.While I (by default) respect your view, if you stick to propaganda tokens and try to build any reasoning from them, it is "garbage in - garbage out" situation.

Also, by simple comparison, we can see that the violence and oppression is mostly perpetrated either bu the state (adjectives irrelevant) or state-licensed actors. Communism, socialism, capitalism any other ideology can hardly do any harm without state's monopoly of violence.

@8petros @raccoonformality @bastetfurry most countries which tried to implement "communism*" something, ended up in totalitarian states. If you want something not making people relating with that stuff - call it different to not confuse folks.
