@stux There have been companies working on these for some time. I know a few stepped up with this type of idea after the Texas elementary school shooting. We are this creative for sure. Just not creative enough to find the time to create legislation to truly fix this issue.

@stux and yes, in a corner.Ever put a chair in a corner and place it towards a doorway with no windows to the sides?That vibe you feel is your brain relaxing and feeling safe and you know where the exit is.It’s basically a primal instinct we have built in so this way no one would feel panic.Or that’s the theory behind it.

@stux Fun fact;this can also can apply to video game mechanics to add the “I feel safe vibe” but “if I leave this door am probably gonna die”Often found in FPS and horror games and more often in the resident evil franchise.It’s captivating you could say, but you will find it all over the place in popular games.

@stux If it is, seems like an overly complex solution. Why not simply have a secondary steel door that closes over the existing door with a lock. Or maybe simply have the regular door be a steel door with a lock.This is kinda like all the rules that were put in place after 9/11 with flying, when a simple solution is putting a better door on the cockpit, and a lock on the inside.
