       @megabyteGhost It's a big fuck you to DRM and copyright absolutism.  I always appreciate artists who don't just pay lip service to ideals, but actually implement them in how they make and distribute their art.I'm also fine with it just being DRM free, but CC means if they no longer sell the album I won't go to jail for sharing it.Also applies to podcasts.And the flip side is important as well: if you are an Audible or Spotify exclusive, I am not giving you money.  Sorry.

       @megabyteGhost The bigger picture view is that DRM and copyright absolutism centralize distribution in the hands of a few players.I can't take seriously artists who - when given a choice - choose to contribute to the destruction of their medium.
