@f4grx @wim_v12eUnfortunately it's a trade secret how much computing power they used to train it. So much for open AIhttps://youtu.be/2AdkSYWB6LY?t=1m50s"they're just not going to tell us the model size, the parameter count, the hardware they used, the training method, or anything like that"#GPT4 #OpenAI #TechnicalReport #AI #LargeLanguageModels #LanguageModels #ArtificialIntelligence #machineLearning

@bornach @f4grx @wim_v12e At least running stuff like it (LLaMa) seems less computationally taxing then previously assumed. Now, the Open in OpenAI is only for non-profit tax reasons I guess.

@koen_hufkens @f4grx @wim_v12e[Yannic Kilcher] calls out the not-at-all-open #OpenAI https://youtu.be/2zW33LfffPc?t=16m0sHe describes their #TechnicalReport as being more like an advert, and asserts that they can no longer claim to be an #AI research group, democratising the technology, or for the benefit of humanity.#GPT4 #ArtificialIntelligence #LargeLanguageModels
