I'll try again some other time in another language because C# is driving me nuts. I knew it wasn't a very good idea to use C#. I should have tried Python from the beginning.I managed to log in but then when trying to send the contact list, it doesn't like something about it and doesn't reply back so the communication stops there. The few pages I found are very bogus and it's hard for me to figure out what I'm supposed to send back. For instance, it says "reply has a key for each contact". What it doesn't say is what each key is exactly. So I kinda don't know what to do with that. But I made progress though.

If only I could find the old source for Pidgin from back when it had support for this IM, I could probably fix this easily.

Time to work on this again! I found something that might help.https://web.archive.org/web/20080408110401/http://myspaceim.pbwiki.com/persistrWith this, I should be able to figure out how to reply to these. As long as the protocol didn't change that much, since the client version I'm using is actually more recent than the version described in these documents. Shouldn't be that much different though.
