Dont. Just dont. Don't take Lyrica (Pregabalin). It's a good short term crutch to handle pain that medicines silver bullet (ibuprofen) can't reach. But after a while you will need to increase your dose to get the same effects. Thats your body becoming accustomed to it.This will go on and on, chasing the same positive effects until you reach the maximum recommended daily dose and the side-effects grow as well.. they are GRUESOME.Doctors lie to you. They say it doesn't cause addiction. It's a lie. Reports from people who are on Lyrica for a year or longer report that it is more difficult to get off of than Heroine. FUCKING HEROINE IS EASIER TO GET OFF OF.I personally reached a point of demininished returns and massive side-effects. It's usefulness has been far outlived after 2-3 years and the side-effects are literally trying to kill me.Doctors aren't told about this by the pharma lobby. Doctors are told its the new magic bullet when it comes to pain management. They are being lied to and in turn they proliferate the lies to us -- most of us who will most likely need to go through extremely painful and difficult withdrawals that might take years depending on your daily dose and how quickly your body can adapt (read: how much punishment it can take).Oh and most rehab-clinics or places which would help people with drug addictions and make it possible for them to get completely off it... some/most places will exclude you for taking lyrica. Lyrica is not considered a drug thats worth getting help for to kick. This is a huge blindspot.Again, lyrica is often more difficult to kick than heroine, there are clinics that help people become clean from heroine, there are none to help people get off lyrica. Good luck. Good fucking luck.
