@Teri_Kanefield stay safe!! We live in an area that frequently floods around us, but luckily we live on a hill…I have friends who have had their homes flooded more than once. It’s not fun watching the water inch up towards the door!!!

@Teri_Kanefield @kctipton California has a lot Central's - I lived for a year in the Central Valley and that was A VERY LONG WAY from the Central Coast.

@Teri_Kanefield Too bad the couldn't elevate those storms a bit & dump the precipitation in the high Sierras. A couple dozen feet of snowpack would help the reservoirs a lot.

Please forgive me.Though we Ventuck-ians would love to be Central Coast, we haven't made the cut and mostly settle for Southern California.Santa Barbarians get to pick and they usually pick your lovely Central Coast team. Confusingly, the Central Valley does not quite correspond to the Central Coast.Fully agree that anything north of the Golden Gate is Northern California.

@Teri_Kanefield My daughter's on her way down the coast, in the redwoods tonight, to the Bay area tomorrow. Hwy 101 is flooded in Humboldt County, the road collapsed/slid, and 1 lane is closed. She'd been going down I-5 but hit snow at 2,000 feet and the other passes are 4,000 feet with accumulating snow. So she backtracked and went out to the coast. Her 8-9 hour trip will take 15. Yeesh!! So much water coming out of the sky at once!
