Remember during Cambridge Analytica, the responsible design movement that briefly got famous? Where Valley companies promised to imagine the longer term impact of their products prior to releasing them? What was that movement called? Did it have a name?

@mackreed Right, that's more about the actions consumers might take with their time. I'm focusing on what feels like "responsible design" that anticipates potential negative impacts and unintended consequences of seemingly benign tech/products. IE, a process that is built into product management. I think it has a name, I'm just blanking on it.

@Jbat Yep. Sadly, consideration doesn’t seem to be in the budget, or even the business plan. See: https://dair-community.social/@emilymbender/110018958213024544
