i'd say the necessary precautions that would have made the log unable to fall on the person were missing is negligent and therefore ethical wrong.but now i'm grasping at staws.ofc accidents happen and some times there are no people to blame for to give an ethical evaluation.however, if i'm able to separate a predator from it's pray while still providing it with all necessities, then i think it's more ethical to do that than to let the predator kill it's prey

@mario @katkat Of all the reasons I've read or heard supporting the idea of not killing animals to eat this has to be the worst.Animals kill to eat, there's predator and prey.There's very few exceptions and one of those exceptions is a starving animal eating one of it's own species to survive, which humans have done too.Biologically speaking humans are omnivores, to have a healthy and balanced diet we need meat. Yes, you COULD do without, but it's something that requires a lot of attention because our body is not made for it and even then I never met a vegan that looks absolutely healthy, they're often pale and sickly looking, not to mention that excessive farming to feed a vegan lifestyle in huge numbers would also be unhealthy for the ecosystem, but this is beyond the point I wanna make right now, which is that if you wanna support the idea that animals shouldn't be killed to eat then saying "Only if you'd kill humans for the same reason" is not a valid argument in my opinion.
