       @mull I run a single user instance on akkoma, a fork of :pleroma: . Ive been doing this for a while now. Almost all the issues described in this blog can be overcome by:Using lightweight software. NOT  MastodonBecoming well federated. this either takes time, or relays. But it is possible. And its not that hard to do. I would love to talk more about this.I personally think single/small instances are the best. You get much more control/say in how you are federated and moderated. More customizable. You own your data. You are actively participating in keeping fedi decentralized.
