       Last week I realised my Screen Time was 6 hours+Activated Downtime on iOS to keep me mindful of my phone usage. Seems to have worked a charm!

       I also use my Apple Watch to track my sleep and strangely enough, my “Deep Sleep” stats have increased too. I’ve now crossed the 1 hour per night threshold. Previously I have struggled to get over 30 minutes.

       @toze wow! That’s good! I mean, I suppose it’s hard to quantify given we have different bodies and minds; what might be enough for my skinny rat body might not be for you. 😊But yeah, it’s an interesting correlation since I withdrew from my phone so much.

       @habibcham you’re right Habib!I’m trying a new thing of my phone going into another room at night to charge. This cuts the connection but I keep my Apple Watch on, with only close relatives able to contact me. I suppose it allows me some comfort knowing I can be contacted if needs be. I’ve also started to read, even just for 10 minutes on my Kindle when I get into bed to act as a sort of buffer.

       @nickycolman Having the watch definitely gives that extra comfort and calms the mind about missing an important family related calls during the night. Just remember to switch off Watch notifications for things that aren’t important too. 👍🏾

       @habibcham 💯 I’m very restrictive anyway with  Watch notifications. But my watch goes into Sleep mode at a set time and that silences all but urgent calls. 😊

       @nickycolman I found my numbers to be inflated since iOS 16. Can’t really trust it so a bit meaningless at the moment. However, I agree, great to keep track generally, to be mindful.
