@FeartnTired Today's splodging. Wasn't inspired so here's a cup of coffee. Took up the wee pot with big flooers and big pot with wee flooers challenge. Cup is 4 X 5 1/2. Pots are a quarter of that. Farah even makes an appearance.

@Fullycaffeinated I think that's a perfect mug and Farah looks fascinated (ye can tell).4x5.5 inches or cm?The flooers and vases are GREAT, the too big and the too small has worked perfectly.

@FeartnTired Yes, I started with the 9 X 12 and taped it off as four 4.5 X 6 (minus tape edge, came out to 5.5 X 4 inches paintable area. The first two I painted the last two weeks, cup is the third and the last one I split into four to give me about 4.5 cm X 6.5 cm when taking into account the tape. I wanted the full Feart wee splodge experience!

@Fullycaffeinated so the cup is a postcard and ye've not done any quarters yet. goodoh! At least one of the wee ones has to be a seascape. 2/3rd sky wet in wet and then a wet on dry sea. mind the horizon disnae bleed, cos how the sky was still wet :whistles: but then if it does ye put in an island.

@Fullycaffeinated @Hollahollara you started it. I did a standard water shark, and you did a bland meadow (too much foreground) and I suggested a shark. So then you said you don't get grass sharks and I said all sharks are valid and Bucolic Grass Shark appeared, as summoned.that sounds PERFECTLY SANE.

@Fullycaffeinated ok, with ye now. effectively you've done eighths, because you are constrained by the height of the landscape quarter, if yer flooers were over a bit, ye'd have two side by side. I always go portrait if I intend only wan in the piece.... so the teeny weeny flooers are ace!

@Fullycaffeinated these are the things that shape our art. I had less of a problem with that once I started chopping the paper and not taping it down.I have an A5 'whiteboard' which is really just a shiny covered piece of stiff greyboard. I hold my paper on that with my thumb in one corner, holding the whole thing up in my left hand.
