@ParadeGrotesque Check on your dormant accounts as well. We had a terrible time here with the same IP addresses making a bunch of accounts at the same time and then using a new one when the previous one was banned. They generally abused the . and + features of GMail so they wouldn't be tied together but they had the same IP address

@7heo Ground rules:- Anyone is allowed to open an account.- Artists (writers, musicians, painters, etc) are allowed to "advertise", provided this is not 100% of their posts.- Small corporations are OK, + same rule (in other words, post interesting stuff, and advertise once in a while).- Large corporations: that remains to be seen. If you are large enough, you can probably open your own instance - and what are you doing on SDF then?Most people kicked out advertise in their 1st post.

@ParadeGrotesque If I become large enough, I will contribute yearly to software projects and art projects like SDF (also Wikipedia and archive.org), and of course run my own instance under my own domain. But I'm not there yet, I have yet to publish a single product, and I have yet to become profitable. Shit's hard, yo. 😅

@ParadeGrotesque I would feel insanely uncomfortable asking for anything before I have at least a working PoC (proof of concept).And once I have a working PoC, I can probably get more serious funding. Or get a loan, and get profitable ASAP.

@ParadeGrotesque I really appreciate what you and other moderators are doing to keep this instance safe and healthy. If it becomes too much to keep up with at some point, I was wondering, could a validation concept like that of SDF proper be employed here too?
