       @Ricardus I did that once when I sprained my ankle, and it froze in place. Literally locked it up. You might want to use warm compresses to let the blood flow back in. (No, I'm not a doctor and I don't even play on the internet.)

       @fmhilton The flexibility is okay at the moment it's just that when you flex it you're stretching a tendon with inflammation. So I think the ice is the right way to go for now. I seem to be making progress. But I work on a concrete floor which is not ideal so when I ice it and then go to work the next day it's two steps forward and one step back.

       @Ricardus I hear you on the concrete floor..those are so hard on the feet and legs, standing all day is so painful. hope you get better.

       @Ricardus Recommend gel shoe inserts for work. You might want to try alternating heat and cold (20 minutes each)
