Is Trump about to be indicted?According to the New York Times,Trump has been invited to testify before the grand jury which is "a strong indication that an indictment could follow."(I love social media: I was doing other things, but a few people alerted me and asked if this means that the grand jury will indict Trump.)Before answering, I checked with Mark Reichel, a former colleague and long time criminal defense lawyer.What it means is that the investigation is wrapping up . . . 1/

@Teri_Kanefield One can only hope. This article certainly does make it appear as if an indictment is just weeks away. And Trump's outburst against the DA would suggest he knows it too.But I'll believe it when I see it.

@Teri_Kanefield Found these bits (screenshots from NYT) particularly interesting in the article. Also took a screen shot from wikipedia re: Michael Cohen. It will be important to note the differences between charges brought by fed prosecutors for Cohen vs NY DA for Trump, assuming DJT is indicted.
