Ok this is funny. The minimal #installation of #ubuntu install first all packages and afterwards they get removed 🤣🤣🤣And the whole Installation takes a while longer to complete 😎#linux

@chrisonline @selea in that case, welcome to the Linux world. best to get Ubuntu out of the way so great you're trying it first 😁The sensible next step would be Linux Mint, ideally the LMDE edition if you're feeling confident 🙂

@selea Yes, I prefer the respective “base distros” to keep close to the package sources. Not sure how much it matters… But it feels better to me to not be as distant and with many middle men customizing things.
