       This is the password string at the top of my exported Fritz!Box  7530 configuration by the way… I wonder if this could be the router password and not the backup file password…. nah surely not

       @Baa Would the input not be irrelevant for detecting the algorithm?I have never seen one all uppercase and starting with $$$$ 🤔For a start, a stupid method could be looking at a list of example hashes from popular algorithms?

       @mikapyon yeah, I tried looking through some lists but haven’t identified it yet, it’s a mystery to me so far :think_moe: I guess it’s a salted hash so identifying it might not be possible this way idk
