@stux I can offer you my 2008 EeePC 1000H with winxp. I changed the 2.5" 160GB HDD with a 120GB SSD (but it sucks anyway) 😄

@MagicLike I'm following a course for a MMORPG now but i was stuck at the first chapter where to get a character.. :blobcatgiggle: I could 'get it' but not download it.. so i had to request it manually from another student and added itthat sucks sooo much, and that's just one part

@stux Unpopular opinion: I have a Mac (not my only computer) and I’ve run Linux machines in the past., but my Windows machines have always been the best combination of price, performance, usability, and compatibility (with the most amount of software). It’s popular to hate on Windows, but there’s a reason they continue to sit on top.

@stux @fyrfli yeah, baked-in hardware is the biggest constraint with Mac.Apple silicon sure runs sweet though, and the sound from those kleinste speakers in MacBook Pro….👍
