       When I first started using live edge planks it was much more of a novelty and slabs were hard to come by . Neighbor had a bandsaw mill and I would convince him to saw up stuff he was convinced should just be cut up for firewood. Logs with a curve or severe crook were often considered junk but I thought they would add an interesting element.
