Huh, just saw a segment in the news about a South African man who fights for less production in the western world and better improvement on things we have..Inspiring!Thigns like:- private jets- fast fashion- SUVsare kinda unnecessary while we shoudl improve on:- durability- sustainability- overal product improvementThis makes so much sense, what's wrong with us

@stux Well, it's more profitable, even in non-capitalist economies, to make throw-away things than it is to build something to last.We *used* to focus on quality, now we (all of us, regardless of economic model) focus on quantity.I can't say I disagree with the idea.

@stux You are right! He came to Tesla later, but became a defining figure of the company. However, he seems to be more concerned with his own profit than with sustainability and a socially responsible company.

@stux @bass4dking I've been asking my fellow liberals why they vacation in Europe or New Zealand, since flying there is equivalent in emissions to driving an SUV there and back, meaning that they thereby basically drove an SUV across the US 3-6x.But people see those emissions as "cultural," hence not real CO2.
