@lorenzor most beginner friendly distros have them preinstalled.And even on Fedora, you can just install the native VLC package and media codecs are automatically installed with it

@lorenzor what browser do you use?I encountered this bug with Ungoogled Chromium but other browsers don't have this problem for me

@lorenzor I had the same issue and it solved for me.But you can ask @fedora if there's a more practical solution
