I seem to recall the thing spouting impressive things but also a lot of not-always-easy-to-spot nonsense which would make it a rather dangerous tool for search. Also, I thought only Bing uses the thing and who even uses Bing? Or am I behind the times here?

       @theDoctor @wfaler nope, not behind the times, I think you're spot on"completely changed internet search..." on a couple of search engines, for the worseOf course, the whole thing reads as if "the metaverse" and "ai search" are mutually exclusive... how is that?! We've had SecondLife and Google for decades now and things have been fine!

       @paul @wfaler I can totally see why this would be nice to have! The thing is ChatGPT can't give it to us because it frequently produces bogus. Maybe we need another AI to fact check the first one :D
