       @dcc @sjvn - huge catalog of applications for the average user- people are free to make their own repositories with all the same features as flathub (see: the Fedora Flatpak repo)- users are free to add any repository as an alternative to flathub, again, without any downsides

       @dcc @sjvn yeah but as a developer you would have to make a PPA for Ubuntu, a COPR for Fedora, upload to OBS for openSUSE, AUR for Arch, etc.plus you also need to test it on every distro (and untested software is not good for the users)
