And honestly even when it's a fight over our own free speech, arguing for our right to be offensive or incorrect is just a losing argument when it comes to appealing to the common man.Think how unappealing hearing someone say "well he might be wrong and hateful but he has a right to be like that" is compared to something like "his opinions and arguments are based on fact and the reason they are trying to silence him is because they cannot disprove what he is saying". The first one comes off as if you have a guilty conscience and are trying to hide behind the principle while the second stands on it's own two feet and challenges anyone to disprove you.The same can be said for a number of rights which White nationalists care about. The right to bear arms or the right to home schooling have much better justifications to exist in 2023 America than "freedom" or "constitution." Those reasons need to be at the forefront of our argument in defense of those things and not be kept hidden as if they were a guilty secret.
