I think there's a bit of a difference between unwritten laws preserved by a class of professionals who dedicate their life to memorising them so they can't be changed at will by a tyrant and an unwritten law some guy says exists after he bans someone.Anyhow, I'm fine with societies having unwritten rules, that's life, but it's a bit odd to create a written rule that says the exact opposite and fly off the handle if someone suggests maybe changing it to match the unwritten rules.
