@alyssawitchcraft @jeffcliff @TheSomebodies i can't tell if this is the angle the conversation is taking but im fairly old and am pretty well read + quite self aware and i still struggle quite a lot with Totally Conceptually Understanding quite a lot. and i see other adults clearly having the same difficulty understanding - but often are less conscious of their lack of understanding i have friends with bodies / diets that are like "abnormal" from how their parents fed them as kids but people seem to care several orders of magnitude less about that shrug
