       @mirek unsolicited advice: when it comes to being a good human there's usually no one particular right thing to do, and parenting is no exception. The certainity lies in the other end of the spectrum: the ways to be a truly horrible parent shall be fairly easily recognizable. Unless you find yourself in that situation, you probably did just fine.
