       @mathman Statistical data is a Fallacy of Authority. You're believing Statisticians would honestly collect data and not just make it up or fudge numbers and be selective about when and how they collected to skew results.I would believe my eyes, but if it's just a assortment of pixels on a computer screen it's pretty easy to pass that off as CCTV footage or a hoax by clever propagandists.

       @INSTALLGENTOO @mathman Somewhat true. Statistical data I did not collect is fallacy of authority, if I never did research myself. We are in a world with bad liars, and statistical data says more than the main point. I can calculate how the data compares to other related data to detect an anomally. Most of the surrounding data also needs to be falsified.
