       Dating myself, obviously, but heard someone talking about pneumonia on TV, and it got me thinking about how I had it, when I was very, very small. It got to the point where I had to be taken to the hospital. As we were leaving, my dad handed me a Luke in X-Wing gear figure. He must’ve been saving it for my birthday or something. When I got better, Luke was played with, often and lovingly. Such a small, kind gesture, but one that I never forgot. He wasn’t big on showing emotion, but he definitely had a heart.

       my dad past a few years ago. We used to game together and he is the one who introduced me to video games like FFVII and so on. always great to remember!
